The program, which should run just over an hour, has something for everyone. Junior music education major, Hailey Rodden, will solo on bass flute, and alumnus composer Caleb Etchison, 鈥�23, will have a world-premiere performance of his new work, 鈥淣ighttime Daydreams for Orchestra.鈥� Caleb Etchison Haley Rodden The program, consisting of several short works, has music of Bernstein, Verdi, Stravinsky, Vivaldi, Robert W. Smith, Catherine Michael and Robert Sheldon. Among the most famous of these are 鈥淲est Side Story,鈥� 鈥淣abucco Overture,鈥� selections from Stravinsky鈥檚 鈥淔irebird,鈥� and Robert W. Smith鈥檚 鈥淭he Great Locomotive Chase.鈥� Admission is free for all students, faculty and staff, and $10 for the general public. Tickets are available at the door or can be purchased in advance .
