Molly Littlefield and Quasean Holmes Named GWU Student-Athletes of The Week

Littlefield Posted 22 Digs Against High Point, and Holmes Ran for 156 Yards and a Touchdown

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.—After posting strong individual performances on the field and on the court this weekend, sophomore libero Molly Littlefield of the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ volleyball team and senior running back Quasean Holmes of the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ football team have been named GWU’s Athletes of The Week.

In the Runnin’ Bulldogs win over Lindenwood on Saturday afternoon, Holmes paced the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ rushing attack with a career day. The Charlotte, N.C., native ran for 156 yards and a touchdown, while also making three catches for 28 yards. On the volleyball court, Littlefield played a major role for ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ in games against Radford and High Point. The Rockton, Ill., native posted 22 digs against HPU on Friday before following up with 34 against Radford on Saturday, recording 56 for the weekend. It was the second time this season Littlefield posted north of 30 digs in a game, following a previous career-high 31 in a Dawgs win against Lamar back on Aug. 31.
