Faculty members seek to engage students with unique, experiential learning opportunities to prepare them for their next steps. Whether they choose to begin a career or accept the academic challenges of graduate school, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to lead and serve. Additionally, through GWU鈥檚 supportive and diverse Christian community, students are inspired to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of others. Brian Gwyn, an alumnus of 成人视频, was recently named president of . He brings over 20 years of experience to further the health care provider鈥檚 mission to 鈥渆xtend the compassionate ministry of Jesus.鈥 Gwyn joined the administration on Feb. 6 and will lead the organization as it strives to 鈥渋mprove the health and well-being of its communities and bring help to those in need.鈥 In his new role, Gwyn is responsible for all Mercy Health operations in the Cincinnati market, including oversight of Mercy Health 鈥 Cincinnati鈥檚 leadership team. Previously, Gwyn worked for Atrium Health, where he served for nearly 15 years in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, he was senior vice president and market president for Atrium鈥檚 west market with oversight of six facilities that provided care across seven counties, serving more than half a million residents. Before that Gwyn was president of Atrium Health Cleveland and Atrium Health Kings Mountain facilities. Gwyn earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree, as well as a master鈥檚 degree in family and consumer services, from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. He earned his master鈥檚 degree in business administration in health care in 2003 from Gardner Webb University. 鈥淏rian is a proven servant leader with a track record of driving operational growth and establishing strong work cultures and community partnerships,鈥 said Don Kline, Mercy Health chief operating officer. 鈥淚 am pleased Brian has chosen to join Mercy Health and the Cincinnati community.
